Voting for the unknown is a zero risk proposition

An argument that voting for ANY independent or alternative candidate is a wasted vote because "you don't know what you're voting for..." or "you don't know what you're gonna get.." is a completely invalid argument.

I'd rather be governed poorly by an inexperienced, idealistic, honest, earnest government than live in a country ruined by design.

Voting for Fianna Fail, Fine Gael, Labour or any party that has ever been in power in this country because " you know what you're gonna get...." is a vote FOR :
                  CORRUPTION,
                      NEPOTISM,
                            WASTE,
                               PROTECTION OF THE RICH,
                                   PERSECUTION OF THE POOR,
                                      GREED,
                                          LIES,
                                             DECEPTION,
                                                COWARDICE,
                                                      MANIPULATION....

                                                                        ..... THAT'S what you're gonna get.

                                                And that's what you're gonna get if you don't vote at all.

Voting for ANY candidate other than the current major parties is a zero risk proposition ..... voting FOR any of the major parties is a NO WIN proposition.

But why listen to the reasoning of some dude who calls himself Drum Stig....... maybe you might respect the logic of someone a little more credible .... like Albert Einstein:

"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

The next time you have the chance to vote, inform yourself of your options, trust your heart, and take a leap of faith into the unknown.
